Still Walking
Dear Friends,
It has been a while. I just wanted to let you all know that I am still here.
2024 was a year with so many joys and so many trials. Looking back, I am grateful for the year that it was. There was a lot to celebrate, especially the launch of my book “Where is the Light?” However, I will honestly say that the trials have overshadowed the joys of last year. The journey has been quite challenging and the crosses have been heavy to bear.
The Jubilee year 2025 has begun and I must say, truly, “Hope does not disappoint” (Romans 5:5). Hope is the central message of the Jubilee year. To quote a phrase from the Papal Bull, “The Christian life is a journey calling for moments of greater intensity to encourage and sustain hope as the constant companion that guides our steps towards the goal of our encounter with the Lord Jesus.”
As a pilgrim of hope, I look forward to my journey this year with a more joyful disposition. There are a number of projects that I am working on that I will be sharing with you later on. Aside from that, there are also a number of things happening in my personal life that are quite exciting as well. The crosses that I carry with me feel much lighter with hope in my heart.
With hope in our hearts, let’s keep walking to Jesus.
Don’t let your life be sterile. Be useful. Blaze a trail. Shine forth with the light of your faith and of your love.
With your apostolic life wipe out the slimy and filthy mark left by the impure sowers of hatred. And light up all the ways of the earth with the fire of Christ that you carry in your heart.
— St. Josemaría Escrivá (The Way, 1)
